The Short Version
I'm Theo Lee, a developer and entrepreneur based in Seoul, Korea. I spend most of my time building software, thinking about how technology shapes our lives, and writing about what I learn along the way.
How I Got Here
My journey into tech wasn't a straight line. Like many builders, I started with curiosity—tinkering with code, breaking things, and occasionally making something useful. Over time, that curiosity evolved into a deep fascination with how we communicate with machines and, more recently, how machines can understand and work alongside us.
I've always been drawn to the intersection of technology and human experience. The best tools don't just solve problems—they change how we think about what's possible. That's the kind of thing I love working on.
What Drives Me
I believe technology should amplify human capability, not replace it. The best tools feel like extensions of ourselves—they remove friction, not agency. That philosophy guides everything I build and write about.
Outside of work, you'll find me reading (mostly non-fiction, occasionally sci-fi), experimenting with new tools and frameworks, and thinking about how to explain complex ideas simply. Seoul is home—a city where traditional culture and cutting-edge technology create a uniquely inspiring environment.
This Blog
This corner of the internet is where I share things I'm learning, building, or thinking about. Expect posts on software development, technology trends, and occasional tangents into whatever captures my attention. I write to clarify my own thinking—if it helps you too, that's a bonus.
